As rates of autism diagnoses rise, music teachers are increasingly encountering affected students. These students have tremendous potential, but unlocking that potential requires an understanding of their learning differences and unique music processing. The purpose of this introductory course is to offer some basic tools and strategies to allow you to feel prepared and empowered to teach students with autism.
